Le Jarrier Gite is a self-catering holiday home in northern France.

Set in its own grounds, Le Jarrier is an old French farm house in a couple of acres, consisting of a long house and a detached stable building which has been restored to create a 2 Bedroom Self Catering Gite / Holiday home which opened in April 2008.

Our well equipped detached self-catering accommodation:

Sleeps up to 4 adults & is also idea for families.

2 bedrooms – one is a double on the first floor, with an en-suite WC, the second bedroom is on the ground floor and has adult sized (3 foot wide) bunk beds.

Shower room, with 2^nd WC is on the ground floor.

There are lounge and dining areas in a newly built garden room / conservatory.

Modern kitchen - very well equipped, and benefits from a dishwasher, washer / dryer, fridge freezer and microwave.

Private garden - good size & has excellent views of the countryside, Gas BBQ, dining table / chairs & sun loungers.

Additional benefits UK Satellite TV, DVD Player, Playstation 2

All guests are welcomed with a bottle of wine and a few essentials to help you settle in.

Le Jarrier gite prices are competitive. All bedding and towels are provided for your stay. Electricity is also included in our daily rates. There is no set changeover day, as we welcome people wanting short breaks or longer holidays.

We are less than an hour from the famous Le Mans motor racing circuit, home of the world famous 24 Hour Race & host of Classic Car, motor-racing & motorbike racing events.

Within easy reach of a wide range of tourist spots such as St Leonard du Bois in the popular Alpes Mancelles area of natural beauty, and the lake and beach at Sille le Guillaume.

For the more adventurous, Horse-riding, Tree climbing, and Bungee jumping are all nearby.

Why not join us for a few days to break up your journey to the south of France or Spain, as we are within easy reach of the French ferry ports of Caen, Le Harve, Calais, Cherbourg and the Eurotunnel and less than 20 miles from the new A28 motorway.

Our location – we are situated in Sarthe, an area of Pays de la Loire. Approximately 20 miles South of Alencon in Normandy & approximately 35 miles north of Le Mans in the Sarthe
